How do you all handle it when you know God has really done something awesome for you, then the next minute it seems like you're dealing with backlash? I know the enemy wants to discourage and steal your joy, but when do you get to that place where you just have REST from the enemy and his attacks? I guess I'm just in need of peace right now. God really lifted my spirit and did something great for me today. I think I received probably the greatest personal revelation of His love for me today. It was totally overwhelming. I've never had that type of experience with God before... Then the next minute along came the enemy. Is it ok for me to be honest here? I know I don't know everyone here that well. But I believe we are sisters in the Spirit. It almost feels like I can't even move 1 step forward without the enemy trying to knock me 2 steps backwards. I'm not confessing defeat, but I guess it's just exhausting at times. It's hard to even put words to it. But one thing I do know, I will stay the course no matter what. I'm come this far, I may as well let the Lord carry me through. At least I can walk in confidence knowing that the victory is already won.

   

My awsome sister, it is most definitely alright to BE HONEST HERE...(GLORY 2 GOD). While it is often difficult to allow ourselves to become transparent, I believe that it is necessary in that it brings honest, sincere, GOD ORDAINED - ReSoLuTiOn. Iron Sharpens Iron...TRUTH begets TRUTH in a matter. So, I, beloved; salute you for just laying it out there. While we all have found and yet somtimes continue to find ourselves in this place of uneasyness in not understanding God's orchestrated ways of birthing anointings in our lives (because HE uses it ALL - the GOOD, the BAD, and the oh so UGLY - to work together for our good), my personal experience of dealing with matters such as this was to learn to respond in a way much like HE WHO SITS IN THE HEAVENS...I LAUGH:) I laugh, first off, to resist the temptation to become distracted...and secondly because I refuse to allow the enemy the opportunity of laughing @ me for not trusting that GOD SIMPLY WILL NOT PUT MORE ON ME THAN I CAN BARE. Ever heard the phrase "FAVOR AINT FAIR?" YESS SA!!! You can almost bet that somebody is going to make themselves available for the enemy to use when the LORD is MOVING...when HE'S BLESSING. He's a hata...lol - HE specializes in that. LAUGH:) This confounds him because - (as the thief), he thrives on apprehending our focus...this is a part of his assignment...the pursuit of hijacking our attention. BUT GUESS WHAT? YOU'RE STILL BLESSED...YOU'RE STILL ANOINTED....YOU'RE STILL APPOINTED...why wouldn't hell wanna frustrate that? When you've become a threat to his kingdom, he, in turn, will set out to frustrate your shalom in GOD'S KINGDOM. LAUGH @ HIS ATTEMPTS TO ROB YOU OF YOUR PEACE. I'm gonna laugh with you:) THANK YA LORD!!! I celebrate you and all that GOD is ESTABLISHING in your life and I decree that GOD's strength, joy, and continued SHALOM, be your REST.

you know it is so funny you mentioned that about laughter. that same scripture and everything was just being taught at church the other night. our pastor was saying how God will cause us to laugh and in doing so, He's giving us the oil of joy in exchange for the spirit of heaviness. i thank God for a confirmation. thank you so much for sharing that. (i am laughing with my Father)

Always remember that when God blesses you, Satan is right behind Him trying to spoil your love and your gift. Also remember that sometimes God gives us gifts and blessings so that we will know that He is there while He is allowing us to go through the fire. The fire is there to burn the ungodly away so that He can polish us for His glory as He does all of His fine jewels.
